Below are resources clients have found helpful or that I find myself recommending frequently. This page will grow over time with more content so stay tuned!
Everyone
- Brené Brown’s Podcasts & Research:
- Unlocking Us (2-Part Interview with Harriet Lerner): A 2-part interview on how to apologize and why it matters. This is about so much more than apologizing and we all have so much to learn from it about communication in general. I find myself needing to re-listen to this occasionally and keep practicing these skills. Don’t misunderstand this to mean we should always apologize—there are times when we should not—it’s more about communication skills in general that will make your connection with others more productive.
- Podcasts & Books: Brené Brown’s podcasts Unlocking Us and Dare to Lead, as well as her books, are rich sources of information and research on how to be human.
